The Broken Hill Waste 2 Art exhibition invites community members, artists and schools to transform waste and recycled materials into creative artworks. Presented by Broken Hill City Art Gallery, the local exhibition will be held at the Albert Kersten Mining and Minerals Museum (GeoCentre).

Entries open: 1 April 2026
Entries close: 8 May 2026

The exhibition will run from 30 May to 17 July 2026.

How to Enter

To submit your artwork:

• Complete an official entry form (see below)

• Pack your artwork securely inside a shoebox

• Deliver your entry in person to:

Albert Kersten Mining and Minerals Museum (GeoCentre)
Corner of Crystal and Bromide Streets, Broken Hill

Your completed entry form must be included with your artwork inside the shoebox.
