The Waste 2 Art Regional Showcase brings together outstanding artworks from across the NetWaste region, celebrating creativity, sustainability and the innovative reuse of materials that might otherwise end up in landfill.

Following the completion of local exhibitions, selected works from participating councils are chosen to represent their communities at the Regional Showcase. The exhibition highlights the diverse ways artists, students, schools and community groups interpret the Waste 2 Art theme while encouraging conversations about waste reduction, recycling and environmental responsibility.

Broken Hill is proud to host the 2026 Waste 2 Art Regional Showcase at the Albert Kersten Mining and Minerals Museum (GeoCentre).
